There are a lot of characterizations of Islam in the wake of all the news about the middle eastern conflicts in Iraq and elsewhere. Much of it is negative, and quite a bit of it is inaccurate.

Knowing more about mainstream Islam, and understanding the issues that drive the radical factions contributes to the peaceful future we are all looking for.
